The new edition of the Batimat Trade Show, a global reference in terms of professional architecture and construction exhibitions, will take place from October 3rd to 6th at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles and will feature the participation of around 1,300 companies that specialize in the sector.
At Comenza, we certainly couldn’t let this opportunity pass us by, and we will once again be participating in this globally significant construction event, in order to put our latest developments on display and engage in direct conversation with our clients and users.
Clamp systems, BLACK FINISH, and French Balconies
At the Comenza stand, you will discover the main developments for this year as they pertain to solutions for glass railing systems. These include:
- GlassFit CC-800 System: This innovative clamp system for glass railing features a minimalist design that imparts elegance and simplicity. It allows anchors to be spaced 600 to 850mm apart, reducing installation times and facilitating a fast and cost-effective execution. It is available in both AISI-316 and DUPLEX 2205 quality, the latter being ideal for installation in areas with high exposure to chlorine, such as swimming pools. Additionally, its design has been optimized to be suitable for installing curved glass.
- BLACK FINISH: Black Finish, available for CC-800 and CC-775 systems, is a black PVD finish applied to stainless steel products using a vapor deposition technique. In addition to offering significant resistance to factors such as exposure to UV rays, corrosion, detergents and solvents, or pollution, this finish gives guardrails an avant-garde and innovative look.
- FB-10 French Balcony System: Unlike traditional balconies, which feature a slab that people can step out onto, the French balcony is a functional element that protects against falls. This system developed by Comenza allows for modulations of up to 1500mm and has been successfully tested for private use in France. It can be assembled on the façade, the window frame, or between walls. The glass can be installed from the interior or exterior of the home.

At Comenza, we have established a fundamental commitment to the users of our railing systems. For this reason, our R+D+i department is constantly developing railing systems that comply with the most demanding international building codes.
In 2022, we updated our Avis Technique with new features of the GlassFit SV-1400 series of profiles for glass railings, as well as the incorporation of the GlassFit SV-1801 RX and SV-1802 systems as solutions for crowded areas, meeting the demand for a service load of 3 kN/m. The GlassFit SV-1801 RX and SV-1802 profile systems will be some of the new items presented at Batimat 2022. These products are compatible with LED lighting, have internal drainage, and have been designed for crowded areas or areas that must withstand strong gusts of wind.
