Installing railings is one of the most critical phases for the success of a project. It directly impacts not only the safety and performance of the system, but also the quality of the final finish and compliance with regulatory requirements. That’s why at Comenza, we develop technical solutions designed to make this process easier, ensuring precision, reliability, and efficiency in every installation.
Aware of the real-world challenges installers face, Comenza has created a wide range of leveling and adjustment devices integrated into our systems. These solutions are specifically designed to adapt to common on-site conditions, helping to optimize installation time and simplify the process — all without compromising safety.
The importance of leveling in Comenza railing systems
On site, irregularities in the slab, drilling deviations, or small accumulated slopes are common challenges that can complicate the installation of glass railings. Poor leveling not only affects the visual alignment of the system, but can also create undesirable stress on the glass, make assembly more difficult, and compromise the durability of the installation.
Having integrated leveling systems allows these irregularities to be absorbed in a controlled manner, ensuring proper glass alignment and more accurate installation. These systems also help reduce rework, optimize on-site time, and improve safety during installation—key aspects in both public and private construction projects.
Comenza leveling systems
All Comenza railing systems include leveling and adjustment solutions tailored to each type of construction. From profiles to clamps, stand-offs, or post systems, every solution is developed to ease installation and provide maximum control during glass adjustment.
Leveling in GlassFit Flow profile railings
The GlassFit Flow profile railing systems from Comenza’s 1400 series include the Level In system, a proven solution that simplifies glass leveling, allowing for interior installation and significantly reducing on-site assembly times. The regulation process involves three steps: leveling, locking, and glass securing.
As an evolution of this system, Level In+ is one of Comenza’s latest innovations. This new device further optimizes the installation process, enabling faster and more precise adjustment, reducing the number of steps required, and ensuring maximum safety by eliminating the need for exterior work or scaffolding. The Level In+ system is compatible with GlassFit SV-1602 and the 1700 series, and has been tested and certified to ensure its reliability and compliance with the most demanding standards.
Leveling systems in GlassFit Surface clamp railings
In clamp railing systems, Comenza integrates adjustment solutions that allow the glass to be aligned even after installation. The Level 3D device enables three-axis adjustment, providing precise control of the glass position and allowing for correction of slab irregularities of up to 5 mm.
Meanwhile, the Slot 180 system enables linear adjustment through a slot mechanism, ensuring perfect alignment between clamps quickly and efficiently. These solutions offer excellent on-site flexibility and allow fine adjustments without removing the glass.
Leveling systems in GlassFit Gravity side-mount or standoff railings
Standoff railing systems incorporate adjustment devices specifically designed to absorb common deviations during installation. The Level 2D system allows for up to 5 mm of slab irregularity correction without removing the glass, simply by taking off the adapter cover to perform the adjustment. This feature significantly speeds up the installation process and enhances the installer’s comfort.
Meanwhile, Slot 360 is designed to correct drilling deviations of up to ±8.5 mm in any direction, enabling precise alignment between standoffs and offering great flexibility in complex on-site conditions.
Leveling systems in Minimal Post railing systems
The range of Minimal Post railing systems from Comenza, composed of the MT-200 and MT-201 systems, includes leveling solutions that ensure correct post verticality and glass alignment. These systems integrate the Level 3D device for post adjustment, the SLOT 180, which corrects anchoring deviations of up to ±5 mm, ensuring exact alignment from the start of assembly; and the Horizontal Control mechanism, which allows for vertical glass adjustment when there are offsets of less than 20 mm between consecutive posts.
The MT-201 system, Comenza’s latest release, has been developed to further optimize installation, while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic and high precision. Additionally, its installation video is now available, detailing the main assembly and adjustment phases step by step.
In short, Comenza’s leveling systems are designed to facilitate on-site work, improve installation safety, and ensure an accurate and long-lasting final result. These technical solutions respond to the real demands of projects and reinforce our commitment to innovation and quality.
