The Comenza team has optimized the design of its GlassFit CC-782 clamp system for glass railings, to facilitate the design and installation process required by railing systems.
The system made of stainless steel hasa better modulation of glass, with lengths of up to 1,500 mm, improving the instalation, since the number of clamps and anchors required per meter is less.
Designed for more efficency
The shape of the base of the clamp has been improved to offer a minimalist aesthetic, a proper adjustment device, and a correct performance whether it’s installed with a central chemical anchor or a mechanical one placed at the ends.
The clamp accepts glass panels up to 17.52 mm of thickness. The installation of the glass has been been optimized, thanks to the incorporation of two PVC support pieces.
The rigidity and curved surface of these pieces allows an easy displacement of the glass, to place it in the final position. Like other Comenza systems, the GlassFit CC-782 clamp requires no drilling of the glass.
The new glazing kit, PL-72, is another novelty of the system. These kits normally are composed by two rubber gaskets, however, this kit replaces one of the gaskets with a PVC one. As a result, the railing system is more stable and rigid when subjected to external loads.
In terms of leveling and deviation correction mechanisms, the GlassFit CC-782 clamp incorporates the “Level 3D” levelling system allows to regulate the XYZ axes to guarantee the verticality of the railing on floors up to ± 4,2% (2,4º) of slope. The CC-782, also has the “Slot 180” device, that facilitates the installation even if the centre of each anchor has deviated up to a maximum of ± 2.5 mm.
