Side-mounted clamp system for glass railings: optimizing space and installation costs
Comenza’s GlassFit CC-791 stainless steel clamp system for glass railings features a side-mounted configuration designed to combine safety, visual lightness and efficient installation. Its design allows the use of a single anchor point per clamp, installation without drilling the glass, and access to all adjustment points even after the clamp has been installed.
Its compatible with both annealed and tempered glass. Its internal plastic support components allows the glass to be moved laterally with ease, simplifying the final positioning and adjustment.
01. MINIMALISTIC AESTHETIC
The GlassFit CC-791 system has been developed to provide a clean, contemporary aesthetic for architectural projects where transparency and visual lightness are key priorities. Its side-mounted configuration keeps the glass completely unobstructed, enhancing visual continuity and maximizing the glow of natural light.
The system is also available in Black Finish, expanding the design possibilities and facilitating its integration into modern architectural projects.
02. SAFETY
Guaranteed safety, complying with all technical requirements. We test our systems in our laboratory according to international standards and accredited certifiers.
03. EASY INSTALLATION AND LEVELLING
This solution has been developed to simplify the installation process and facilitate glass levelling. It incorporates Comenza-designed adjustment devices that allow anchor deviations to be corrected and possible slab irregularities to be compensated for, ensuring proper glass alignment.
In addition, this version of the system does not require drilled glass and uses a single anchor point per clamp, simplifying the installation process and helping reduce installation time.

Advantages
01. LOWER GLASS COSTS
The system is compatible with annealed glass, without compromising the safety or functionality of the system.
02. OPTIMIZED SYSTEM COSTS WITH TEMPERED GLASS
Using tempered glass, the GlassFit CC-791 supports glass panel lengths of up to 1,700 mm, reducing the number of clamps and anchors required. This provides a more cost-effective solution per linear metre while also reducing installation time.
03. ADJUSTMENT AND LEVELLING DEVICES
The GlassFit CC-791 incorporates adjustment devices developed by Comenza to ensure precise on-site system alignment. The clamp features the SLOT 360 device, located at its base, which allows anchor deviations of up to ±3 mm in any direction to be corrected, compensating for common drilling inaccuracies in the slab.
The system also integrates the LEVEL 2D levelling device, which allows the glass inclination to be corrected by adjusting the upper or lower part of the clamp. It offers an adjustment range of up to ±1.55° (equivalent to ±5 mm), compensating for slab irregularities and ensuring a perfectly aligned railing.
All adjustments are carried out using an Allen key, allowing for fast, precise and accessible regulation even after the system has been installed.
04. AVAILABLE IN BLACK FINISH AND SUITABLE FOR CURVED GLASS
The GlassFit CC-791 railing system is available in Black Finish, an additional alternative to polished or satin finishes. Unlike conventional coatings, this finish is applied to the stainless steel product using a Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) process, providing high resistance to UV exposure, corrosion, detergents, solvents and pollution.
In addition, the railing can be installed with curved glass thanks to a glazing kit specifically designed for this purpose. This kit enables the installation of curved glass with curvature radii ranging from 1 to 4 metres. It is available on request and according to the specific requirements of each project. For curvature radii greater than 4 metres, the standard glazing kit can be used.
05. IDEAL FOR STAIRCASES
As a side-mounted railing system, is particularly well suited for staircases, as it does not reduce the usable width, helping to optimize the available space.
Safety and regulation standards
At Comenza, we have a fundamental commitment to the users of our railing systems. As a result, our engineering department focuses on the development of railing systems that comply with the most demanding international building codes, guaranteeing the utmost level of safety for the users of all our systems, anywhere in the world.
