Comenza railings at El Sadar Stadium, voted the best stadium in the world in 2021
Located in the city of Pamplona, El Sadar Stadium, named after the nearby Sadar River, was inaugurated in 1967 in response to the need for a better-equipped stadium with greater capacity to accommodate the fans who attended matches at San Juan Stadium, El Sadar’s predecessor, to support Club Atlético Osasuna and dream of the long-awaited promotion to La Liga, which Los Rojillos would not achieve until the 1999–2000 season.

El Sadar has a seating capacity of 23,576 spectators and has undergone several renovations in recent years. The most extensive was completed in 2021 by construction company VDR and OFS Architects. This renovation earned it the title of “Best Stadium in the World in 2021”, awarded by Stadium Database, making El Sadar the first La Liga stadium to receive this prestigious distinction.
