Glazing Kits for Curved Glass Railings
At Comenza, we continue to expand the possibilities of our systems to meet the evolving needs of architecture. We are introducing new glazing kits that allow curved glass to be incorporated into all our clamp-based railing systems in the GlassFit Surface range.
The glazing kits, known as PL-CURVED, enable the installation of curved glass with different radius of curvature ranging from 1 to 4 metres. They are available on request and tailored to the specific requirements of each project. For radii of curvature greater than 4 metres, the standard glazing kit is available.
More design possibilities for Curved Glass Railings
Precise adaptation to curved glass
The new glazing kits, known as PL-CURVED, allow clamps to adapt to different radius of curvature, ranging from 1 to 4 metres. This new solution ensures secure glass fixing and seamless integration into the overall design. For radius greater than 4 metres, standard glazing kits can be used.
Easier and more controlled installation
As these solutions are specifically designed for curved glass, they reduce the need for on-site modifications and enable faster, more precise and reliable installation.
Same base, lower cost impact
The same railing system used for straight sections can also be used for curved sections by simply changing the glazing kit. PL-CURVED kits allow curved glass to be installed while using the same standard base of the clamp system. This means that only the specific components required for each curved section need to be added, reducing additional costs compared with other solutions that require modifications to the entire railing system.
Fewer products, simpler logistics
Reducing the number of products required for installation simplifies project management, supply and organization. This is particularly relevant for complex projects involving multiple sections with different radius of curvature.
